Swiss Korean Innovation Week 2018

Everybody talks about the Winter Olympics in South Korea, but did you know that South Korea has some of the largest and most advanced hospitals in the world? Actually, the Asan Medical Center (2715 beds) and the Severance Hospital (3700 beds) in Seoul are bigger than any hospital in the US and giants compared to the University Hospital Zurich with 950 beds. hemotune visited these hospitals during the Swiss-Korean Innovation week on healthcare and talked to many expert doctors to understand better their needs and how we can support them in saving lives. Besides that, we also participated in the Life Science Symposium held in Seoul and learned more about the strategic collaborations between South Korea and Switzerland during a visit of Swiss President Alain Berset and South Korean Health Minister Park Neunghoo.
