hemotune starts as a Wyss Zurich project
hemotune is very proud that we have successfully passed the thorough 4-step evaluation process and were finally selected as a new project at the Wyss Zurich. The Wyss Translational Center Zurich (also called Wyss Zurich) is a joint center of the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich(Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich), which was made possible by a generous donation from the Swiss medtech entrepreneur and philanthropist Dr. hc. mult. Hansjörg Wyss. It was established to foster translational research focused on developing treatment protocols and clinical therapies, as well as novel technologies and intelligent systems, in the emerging fields of Regenerative Medicine and Robotics, and hybrid technologies thereof. Wyss Zurich unites world-leading experts from both institutions in multidisciplinary teams, pooling their knowledge and expertise.
As a Wyss Zurich Project, hemotune receives funding and is granted access to the Wyss' platform facilities and teams, which will speed up the development of the magnetic blood purification therapy. This is an important milestone for the whole hemotune team and we are thrilled to bring our technology to clinical application and positively affect patient outcomes
